Merry Christmas!!!

Here is my Dad's first cousin, Jeff, holding his son Jason. We have a lot of names that start with J in the family. There are four Jeffs, that can be a lot of fun. Jason wasn't feeling the greatest. We had a wonderful day of family and friends being together to celebrate the birth of Jesus our Lord and Savior!
Here I am in Cousin Tara's arms. She is getting practiced up, she is having a baby in April. I was passed around a lot today!

Poor Grandma McCallus was just worn out from last night. She just had to have a nap after gifts this morning at Uncle Kendall's house. We had 31 there to open gifts.

Here is my cousin Jayden, he slept through most of dinner and ate after we all did. I don't think he is quite awake yet!

This is a picture of some of the group we had for dinner today. We used the Louisville Fire Hall for our dinner since there were so many people.

Jordan after a long day of Christmas and being passed around to everyone. Had a great time with everyone and got to see both sets of grandparents today!

Santa came to visit Jordan!

Grandpa Santa got to see Jordan on Christmas Eve. Jordan is such a hit with all the relatives that are here for the holiday. We had a lovely time Christmas Eve with family gathered here at our house. We had a nice time snacking and visiting. After all the company left we opened our gifts from each other. Rachel and Tina got their bikes that they wanted. Justin got a ticket to a Carolina Hurricanes game in Ottawa. I got some real nice things also.God is so good to all of us!

Brandon James 12/15/07

Here is a cell phone pic of Jordan's new cousin Brandon.

Snow, Snow, and more Snow!!!

Here is a peek at our tree from the outside.

Here is a shot of some of our outside decorations. That is real snow not the fake stuff, and we got a lot of it.

Here is a picture of some of the snow that we received on Sunday. My brother-in-law Donnie came and plowed our driveway out, but it just keeps snowing

Jordan's Christmas Outfit

Here we go again with a sideways picture, but I wanted you to see his cute little "Baby's First Christmas" outfit. The hat came seperate from the shirt and pants. Tina's Aunt Terry got the shirt and pants and Tina got the hat. In the sideways picture you can see that Jordan was sliding down and so his hat was sliding down over his eyes. Anyway he is our adorable little reindeer. Jordan had a new cousin born on Saturday the 15th. His new cousin's name is Brandon James. Congratulations to Tony and Jenn on his arrival.

Christmas with Aunt Chris

Saturday, December 15th, my sister drove up from Utica to have Christmas with us. We had our dinner of chicken and waffles (a Pennsylvania thing) and then milk pie afterward. Of course, there was a major storm brewing so she had to leave that night to get back. We felt bad but we still had a real good time while she was here. Here are a few of the pictures from the evening. Jordan is the only one that had on his Santa outfit.

Put up your Dukes!

Tina went back to work today and Grandma watched Jordan today. It was snowing today and on their way to our house Jeffrey and Tina slid on the road. They were very glad to get to our house and get out of the car. After supper, Tina was holding Jordan and I walked over and started talking to him. I asked him if he wanted to fight and to put up his dukes. He would ball up his fists every time. Ain't he so cute?

Concentration

Rachel loves to hold Jordan up and let him "stand". He concentrates so hard and she loves the look on his face while he is doing this.

Fresh new Pictures!

We were watching the baby for Jeffrey and Tina so they could go skiing today with Justin. I (Jeff) was watching Jordan while Rachel ran to the store for a few things. I took advantage of the time and got a few pictures of Jordan. We got a half of a smile in the one picture. He will smile when he feels like it and if he doesn't feel like it, it doesn't matter what you do, you can't get a smile. Enjoy, we do!

The tree is up!

I finally got the tree decorated. I put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving but finally got the ornaments on the tree. There are other things all around the house. Only 20 more days until Christmas! I love Christmas time.

Saturday evening we all gathered at Donnie's house and had a game party. We watched the Clarkson/St. Lawrence men's hockey game. We are all St. Lawrence fans except Todd. We were glad with the outcome of the game. SLU 4/Clarkson 2. Jordan really was interested in watching the game. He just stared at the large screen that Donnie projected the game on. He stayed awake for a lot of the game too. He wasn't really ready for the hot dogs, poutine, fries, or nachos and cheese. I do think he really wanted some of my hot chocolate, but I told him he couldn't have any yet.

Jordan has a cold!

Jordan has been around so many sick people lately. Even his mother got sick. Jordan started coughing the other night so Tina thought she should take him to the doctor. The doctor said that he sounded like he had a little bit of a cold. While he was there the doctor weighed him and he is up to 9 1/2 pounds. She (the doctor) was very pleased with his growth. Other than a few little sniffles, a runny nose, and a few coughs, he is doing fine. Grandma and Grandpa get to babysit Friday evening while Jeffrey and Tina go to the company Christmas party for Jeffrey's workplace. Sorry I don't have any new pictures to post.

Two tired people

Jordan and Grandma are just tired out. After a supper of chicken and waffles, the two of them retired to the living room in Grandma's chair and just zonked out. What a life! Of course, Grandma may be tired out from all the dancing she has done in our "New Music Video". I know I am!!!!

Babies Guide for Dummies????

As we sat around the other night after our dinner, we were wondering if there was a Baby Guide for Dummies. Of course, we wondering what they would say in it so that dummies could understand it. We came up with what is probably their way of feeding and burping the baby. We entitled it, Feed, Fold, and Whack. Tina so ably demonstrated it for us in these two pictures. Notice the nice feed position and then the fold and then the whack! Jordan just enjoys it so much, can't you tell.

A Few Shots from the Weekend!

Here is little Jordan with his GREAT Aunt Chris. Don't they just look like they are enjoying themselves so much. He has slept most of the day. He was out for lunch and to the grocery store today. Just wore the little man out.

Grandma made some "milk" pie for our dessert for tonight after we had our Thanksgiving dinner of Bar-bque. Don't they just look delicious!!!!

Here is a shot of Jordan after we got home from the Youth Rally/Harvest Dinner Friday night. He was raring to go for a while yet. Grandma was getting him ready for his bath.

Guess who came to visit again?

I took this picture just to have a new picture to put on the blog. Jeff and Tina are staying here tonight because we have a Northern Zone Youth Rally tomorrow evening . It is our annual Harvest Dinner. It is just easier for them to stay here than for Jeff to go all the way to Russell and then to Brushton. We don't mind!

Now this picture is a picture of a picture. Tina had Jordan's picture taken when he was 11 days old. This is what he looked like then. I just couldn't believe that he was only 11 days old here. He just looks so alert.

Believe it or not, this little guy is really growing. Jordan went to the doctor today and he is now 7 lbs. and 14 oz., and 21 inches long. I guess his parents must be doing something right. He doesn't have to go back to the doctor for 5 weeks, and that will be to get some shots. We think GREAT Aunt Chris will be here this weekend. We will have fun while she is here.

Uncle Justin and Jordan getting ready to spend some quality time together to discuss snowboarding.
Jordan pulled his arm up his sleeve and Justin was working to get it back in his sleeve. Jordan decided to make a face at Justin.

"Uncle Justin told me I couldn't go snowboarding with him."

Getting all wrapped back up after getting his arm pulled back down his sleeve. What an ordeal!

Settling in for some restful time with Uncle Justin.

A little bonding time between an uncle and his nephew. After all the ordeal of the arm up the sleeve and being told he couldn't go snowboarding, they finally got things settled and are at peace.

We had a special missions service at our church tonight for the upcoming Self-denial Offering. Rev. Ken Sickler and his wife were here for that service. Brushton Church and Russell Church were represented also. Here is a picture of Jordan all dressed up for church. Notice his little sweater vest and his hightop suede shoes. He is starting to stay awake longer all the time.

Baby's day out!

Jordan had a big day today. He and his mommy left the town of Russell and drove to Massena. They went to see Grandpa McCallus at the Hannaford store so grandpa could show him off to his coworkers. After that, mommy, Grandma Major, and Aunt Laura ate at the mall and then did some shopping. Then we went to Grandma McCallus' house for supper and spent some time there. Had to have some more pictures taken. Grandpa McCallus is dangerous with a camera.

Baby's day out!

Such a handsome little man!

Looking more and more like his Grandpa McCallus every day. Doesn't he look scary?

Baby's day out!

Jordan and his grandma spending a little quality time together

I think he has changed his looks a lot. He is still very handsome and adorable, but I think he just looks different.
