Finally, he walks for us!

Tina and Jeffrey have been telling us about Jordan walking so much. He has been walking for Tina's folks, but we couldn't get him to walk for us. Finally, we got him walking for us. He is just so cute toddling around.

Justin looks a little tired here, he just got back from Pennsylvania today.
Sorry about the sideways picture!

Just an update on what is happening

Since our marriage renewal ceremony in August, we have been a little busy. Rachel babysat for our grandson for the three weeks before school started. Since then she has been right out straight with school work. She goes in early and stays late every day.

I have also been busy at work and stressed out a lot. The store where I work is doing a remodel. It has been busy and my department has given a lot of people to do other jobs during this time and that means that the others must take up the slack. It has been "fun". When I get home at night after helping Rachel at school after work, I am pretty much exhausted.

Other than that, not much has been happening in our lives. We get to see Jordan about once a week and treasure every moment we get.

I hope to be a little more regular with my posts, but hey, you never know! Keep watching!

It's been a long time!

This is Justin (our son) and his girlfriend Stacy. It was so good to have her here to share in our day.
These are Rachel's sisters, Marilyn and Esther with Rachel. They were both in our wedding. So many people think that Rachel and her sisters look so much alike, I can't see it.

This is what greeted us at the reception following the ceremony. Tina, our daughter-in-law, planned and did most of the decorating. Her mother helped her with the food also.
Aren't we cute?
Here is our immediate gang. I think we make a lovely looking family!
Here is our pride and joy. He is starting to walk now so watch out world here he comes!
Here is Jeffrey (our oldest son), his wife Tina, and their son Jordan. He is such a little doll!

Thank you to everyone who made our day special. We love you all and may God bless you!

Happy birthday!

Today is our daughter-in-law's birthday. We just want to wish her the best and we are so glad that she is a part of our family. She is a sweet and caring person, with a lovely personality. Jeffrey did a good job in choosing her to be his wife. She is a wonderful mother to our grandson. Best wishes and we love you very much! Happy Birthday!!!

25 years of marriage!

This is one of our wedding pictures from August 5, 1983.

On Tuesday, August 5th, my wife and I will be celebrating 25 years of marriage. We are having a ceremony on Saturday the 9th, and are renewing our vows. Life has been a little hectic around here trying to get all of the preparations done. I can truly say that they have been the best 25 years of my life. My wife has been the greatest. She has proven many times over how much she truly loves me and I hope that I have proven the same to her. She is a wonderful wife, mother and now grandmother. I am anxious to spend another 25 years with her. We are going away for a few days to New Hampshire to see if we can really see a moose in the wild. This has been one of the things in life that I have wanted and she is helping to fulfill that dream. We are looking forward to being away and will post more about the celebration when we get back and have the party.

A stolen picture!

Donnie took this picture at Vermontville Camp on Saturday. Wendy was holding Jordan at the pavilion. He posted this picture on the Conference website, I downloaded it and put it on my computer at home. Then I decided to put it on here. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

I guess I need to blog more?

Just a short note and a few pictures of the baby and the beautiful hibiscus that I got a couple of weeks ago. Jordan wasn't to sure of what to think of sitting in the grass. I don't think he liked the prickly feeling of the grass. Anyway, two beautiful things in life.
