Today it happened! (Actually last night)

We had our first real snowstorm of the year last night into today. These pictures were taken about 7:30 am today. The first two are from our front yard and the other two from our backyard. Someone once told me that whatever the date is that you get your first snow is how many snows you are going to get. 28th = 28 snows, we are in for a long snowy winter. Time will tell. Enjoy!

Yup! Looks about like here - I think we got about 8-10 inches. Some said a foot, but I'm not sure there was that much. Guess I'll have to get down and shovel this morning..just backed through it all to go to church last night. I thought the sun would be out to melt it :-) - the sun IS supposed to come out, but the temp is going to be in the 30's, so that doesn't sound like a "melting" temp? :-)Hope to see you at church tonight. Love to all, Aunt Marilyn
